Tips for a healthy diet weight loss – eat fruit!

If you want to achieve effective weight loss, eating fruit of any kind has to be an essential part of your healthy diet. Everybody knows how important it is to eat at least 2 serves of fruit a day (well, here in Australia anyway, here they say “Eat 2 & 5″, where the 2 stands for fruit servings and the 5 for vegetables). It is all about a balanced diet.

Fruit contains a lot of vitamins and can really help boost your overall health and wellbeing. If you can manage to switch any snacks you usually might have during the day to eating fruit, you are doing great on your way to a healthy diet weight loss.

If you have trouble eating fruit just like that, try and make it more appetizing by choosing a few different varieties and cutting it up into a nice fruit salad (no sugar please!). I also find I eat my fruit slower and a lot more conscious when I have it in a bowl and eat it with a fork. It feels more like a meal than just eating an apple while I do something else, or eating a banana like a monkey. :)

I found a really nice video on YouTube about fruit and its benefits which I want to share here with you. It’s quite cleverly done and worth watching. Have fun! You could eat an apple while you watch…;)

I think weight loss is all about three things – attitude, diet and exercise. From my experience, reducing carb intake and doing aerobic exercises are keys to successful weight loss.

Tim, I agree. Exercise and a healthy diet are unavoidable if you want to lose weight. But losing weight is a lot about attitude too. If you have a positive attitude toward losing weight, you’re much more likely to be successful in doing it.

I wish people would realize how important fruit is for your overall health and wellness. I am very happy this article was published. Fruits and vegetables contain oxygen in them, that is needed by our bodies. Lack of fruits and vegetables cause our insides to swell up and get inflamed ,which are the cause of certain types of cancer. Avoid cancer and eat your fruits and vegetables!!!

Yup…. Fruit and vegetables are good sources of nutrients that can never be found in other foods. However, most of the time, our diet only contain carbos and proteins. Less veggies because they do not seem palatable and some even eat lesser fruits compared to ice creams, and other sweet stuffs. This is the main reason why here in America, our population has grown obese.

All in all, I agree that we need three things: positive attitude, diet, and exercise to become healthy.
