Fast Healthy Weight Loss – it IS possible!

You know what, I have been trying to figure out how to get rid of my extra kilos for a while. I think a fast, healthy weight loss would be the best (don’t we all!). But I just don’t seem to be able to stick to any “diet”.

I am usually pretty good in the morning with my breakfast (porridge and toast, or muesli and fruit, that kind of thing), but by mid morning all my good intentions usually go out the window when I go and buy something from the bakery, or a shake or something similar. And then the rest of the day – you can just forget about it! Once I taste the good stuff, it’s all over. And how I regret it after!

So, like probably many of us, I go and start a new “diet” every day! And I mean “every day”, and I have been doing this literally for years. Sound familiar?

And since I have been trying to work from home, sitting in front of my computer, the kilos have slowly crept up on me. Don’t get me wrong, I DO do sports, 3 times a week, plus I walk my two little Jack Russell Terrors, too, but it just isn’t enough. Because the food intake is greater than the calories that are burned. I guess we all know that that doesn’t lead to a fast, healthy weight loss!

I guess we all know what we really have to do to get those kilos off, we just find it too hard to stick to any plan and cave in to junk food too easily.

So I have decided to come out in public about my weight loss, – maybe it will help me to be more accountable for what I am doing to my body here!

I would also love for others to join me in my quest to get that great figure back. Drop me a comment below if you would like to join me. Together it is always easier than going the distance alone. I am going to ask a few friends here in Perth as well, I am not sure whether they will have their photos taken though, but we’ll see!

Now, the real reason for this post is that I have just come across an article in one of these supermarket checkout magazines about a girl who dropped 30 kilos in 4 months, and after reading what she did, I thought: I can do that, too! And it all makes sense. It is exactly what I know about a fast healthy weight loss already, just with a couple of extra tips in it. And this time I am going to go for it!

And I will reveal the way this woman did it in my next post! 😉

    I just started a weight loss blog of my own so I will join you! My husband just had surgery on a hernia this week so he can start weight lifting again so it’s a great opportunity for me to start to get healthy and go to the gym. That way when he is healed I can wipe the floor with him!

    @Sarah, the very first change I will make is to actually drink around 2 liters of water every day. I always have this thought in my mind “I really should drink more water” – well, now it is time to get started!

    I think people consider the word fast in different way. How fast you think people can loss the weight? However, I body weight never change lately, but I just worried a lot with my cholesterol.

  6. People are looking for a fast weight loss, but they are making mistake, because healthy diet is better than fast diet (Fast diet can cause problems with a health).

      @slim weight patch, yes I totally agree that fast weight loss or the so called “crash diet” is not very advisable for people who want to lose weight. May I suggest that if you want to lose weight successfully and have a long lasting result, you better do the natural way of losing weight which includes exercise and proper amount of diet. Weight supplements also are helpful I recommend citricoresf ( citricor.com/ ) a friend of mine uses this and I could not believe how his weight has change. And water water water too!! This will help you more than anything.

    Good luck to return to their weight loss journey. I know how difficult it can be when you stop your diet for a while and then start again.

    Just do not quit!

    Finally, one does not care about all the clothes you gave because they look great on all new clothes! You will need a new group of friends to share with because you will use a size smaller than your current friends.

    I’ve been using a combination of good old fashioned healthy eating AND intermittent fasting to keep the weight off. I totally agree though, fast (but still) healthy weight loss is possible and it’s not as hard as it may seem at first. I realise this post was written a long time ago, but I hope you were successful with your goal!

      Brodie, I am unfortunately still struggling.. 🙁 I am an emotional eater and have been going through a really hard time over the past few months so I can’t say I have been successful 🙁
